Product Overview

AQUACEL® Foam Dressing, developed by ConvaTec, is an advanced foam dressing designed to effectively manage various types of wounds. It uniquely integrates Hydrofiber® technology to quickly absorb wound exudate, creating an optimal moist environment that accelerates wound healing.

• Waterproof and Antimicrobial Protection: Its outer layer provides waterproof protection and acts as a barrier against bacteria and viruses, allowing patients to shower or bathe confidently.
• Effective Slough Removal and Tissue Regeneration: Special absorption and gelling properties effectively remove slough and debris, promoting the growth of healthy new tissue.
• Up to 7 Days Wear Time: Efficient exudate management extends dressing wear time, reducing the frequency of dressing changes and minimizing discomfort for patients.

Indications

AQUACEL® Foam Dressing is suitable for various acute and chronic wounds, including:

• Pressure ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Venous leg ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Traumatic injuries and abrasions

Instructions for Use

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the wound and surrounding skin.
2. Select a dressing size ensuring the central absorbent area is at least 1cm larger than the wound.
3. Gently apply the dressing over the wound, smoothing the edges to secure it properly.

Dressing Change Frequency

Generally recommended to be changed every 7 days or as needed based on wound exudate.
