ConvaMax™ Superabsorber Dressing

ConvaMax™ is an advanced superabsorber dressing developed by Convatec, the renowned manufacturer of the Aquacel® range. It is specially designed to manage highly exuding chronic wounds, rapidly absorbing and locking in large volumes of exudate and bacteria to reduce infection, leakage, and odour.

• Pressure injuries (Stage 2–4)

• Post-surgical wounds with high exudate

How It Works

• The superabsorbent core rapidly absorbs exudate and forms a gel to lock in fluid and bacteria
• Reduces leakage, maceration, and skin damage
• Low swelling to maintain a thin, conformable profile
• Compatible with Aquacel® Extra™ for added antimicrobial protection

How to Apply

1. Cleanse and prepare the wound as appropriate
2. Select an appropriate size based on exudate level and wound dimensions
3. Remove from packaging and apply directly to the wound (adhesive version can be secured without secondary dressing)
4. If needed, combine with compression therapy or a secondary fixation dressing
5. Change every 2–3 days or as clinically indicated
