Flaminal® Enzyme Alginogel (Hydro / Forte)

Flaminal® is an advanced wound gel that combines three essential actions:

  • Continuous enzymatic debridement – gently softens and removes slough and necrosis
  • Antimicrobial protection – kills bacteria including MRSA and Pseudomonas within 6 hours
  • Moisture balance – absorbs excess exudate while preserving moist wound healing

Choose Your Variant

Variant Exudate Level Recommended Use
Hydro Low to Moderate Superficial wounds, partial-thickness burns, dry ulcers
Forte Moderate to Heavy Deep wounds, cavity wounds, moderate-to-heavy ulcers, post-op wounds including Zadek procedure (ingrown toenail surgery)

How to Use

  1. Clean the wound and assess the exudate level
  2. Apply a 5mm layer of Flaminal® to cover the entire wound bed
  3. Cover with a secondary dressing appropriate to exudate level

Change frequency:
▪ Low exudate: every 3–4 days
▪ Moderate: every 2–3 days
▪ Heavy: every 1–2 days

Special Note

Flaminal® Forte is widely used for managing post-surgical wounds, including Zadek procedure for ingrown toenail, where moderate exudate and infection risk require both absorption and antimicrobial support.
