HydroClean Solution is a polyhexanide-based wound cleansing solution that is suitable for acute, chronic, and infected wounds. This dermatologically tested irrigation solution is painless to use and highly effective against multi-resistant pathogens. It can be used either in conjunction with compresses or individually as an irrigation solution.

HydroClean Solution facilitates cleansing by reducing the surface tension of the wound, has a moisturizing and antiseptic effect, and inhibits neither granulation nor epithelialization. It is effective against multi-resistant pathogens (MRSA, VRE) and mycotic pathogens.

Applications include cleansing and irrigation of acute, chronic, and infected wounds, gentle cleansing of 1st and 2nd degree burns, removal of scabs, necrotic tissue and biofilm, and softening bonded dressing materials.
