Jelonet® Paraffin Gauze Dressing — Basic Information

Non-medicated, open-weave tulle/cotton gauze impregnated with white soft paraffin. Designed as a primary wound contact layer that is permeable to air and exudate. Requires a suitable secondary absorbent dressing.

Composition

  • Gauze: open-weave tulle/cotton
  • Impregnation: white soft paraffin (non-medicated)

Typical Clinical Use

  • Minor burns and scalds
  • Superficial wounds, abrasions, skin tears
  • Graft donor/recipient sites (per local protocol)
