UrgoTul® is best used as a protective wound contact layer, especially for fragile granulation tissue, newly formed skin, skin tears, wounds that bleed easily, or patients who experience pain during dressing changes. It is not a highly absorbent dressing and should usually be used with a suitable secondary dressing.

Directions for Use
- Cleanse the wound according to clinical protocol.
- Select an appropriately sized UrgoTul® dressing.
- Apply directly over the wound surface.
- Cover with a suitable secondary dressing according to the wound exudate level.
- Change dressing according to wound condition and clinical judgement.
Precautions:
For external use only. If redness, swelling, increased pain, odour, pus, excessive exudate or fever develops, seek professional medical advice. Deep wounds, infected wounds, diabetic foot wounds or wounds with delayed healing should be assessed by qualified healthcare professionals.

UrgoTul® functions mainly as a wound contact layer rather than a highly absorbent dressing. For wounds with moderate to heavy exudate, we often combine it with a secondary absorbent dressing. Where infection risk is present, antimicrobial dressings may be required as part of the overall wound management plan.
